Hey there! My name is Rosalyn Cloutier and I’ve had the honor to serve as Pi Beta’s President this year. Delta Zeta is a sorority extending across the nation, with 275,000 members worldwide! 

The Pi Beta chapter here at the University of Hartford was founded in 2003 but the ideals that inspired our founders to come together date far beyond that. In 1902 The Delta Zeta Sorority was founded upon its 6 core values of friendship, curiosity, generosity, community, empowerment, and belonging. And since then, by holding those ideals tight, has been building lifelong friendships, sisterhood, and empowered leaders ever since. Pi Beta being a shining example. We truly hold all of those core values in our everyday lives, as we are incredibly involved on campus and in the community. Our sisters are involved with school organizations such as the Dance Team, Red Caps, Nursing Council, Red Key, Barney Leadership Council, and Best Buddies just to name a few. And amongst all of these differences and diverse interests, backgrounds, and majors, together we collectively have found our home away from home in Delta Zeta. Our chapters' vibrant and unique personalities come together to put on engaging events such as Hike for Hearing, Cheesy with DeeZee, all in support of our national partners in raising awareness for our philanthropy of Speech and Hearing. As well as supporting our friends in other fellow Greek Life organizations or the individual interests of our own sisters! Delta Zeta is endlessly dedicated to the growth of each of its members.

Being a Delta Zeta has truly given me the sisters I've never had, and the experiences I would've never imagined! Being able to work alongside such inspirational and strong women to help lead this organization has been the opportunity of a lifetime! Amidst the most challenging years of your life while being in college, Delta Zeta and the amazing women that are a part of it have made it even more memorable and impactful. With their endless love, support, and passion, It has even helped me realize my own leadership potential. And for that I am forever grateful. 

So I implore you to pursue all of your passions and do it with those who will support you along the way! Pi Beta, you have my heart forever more.
